National Arbitration in the Civil Procedure Code - I
Provisions of the Civil Procedure Code numbered 6100 (“CPC”) regarding arbitration -a form of alternative dispute resolution- shall be applicable to disputes which do not involve any foreign element and for which the place of arbitration has been designated as Turkey as a fair alternative to our traditional judicial system.

News and events
 The Conference organized by Istanbul Kemerburgaz University on “Sales Contract Relating to the New Turkish Code of Obligations and CISG” was held on 7 April 2012. Many lawyers and academists have participated to the Conference. Prof. Dr. H. Ercument Erdem, Partner of Erdem&Erdem Law Firm and Professor Emeritus of Commercial Law in Galatasaray University made a presentation on “General Overview to Vienna Sales Convention and its Substantial Field of Application”. Prof. Erdem revealed in his speech the provisions related to historical development of CISG and its Substantial Field of Application .
