Ceren Şen
Biography
Ceren Şen is Partner and Head of Banking, Finance and Capital Markets at Erdem & Erdem. With nearly 20 years of experience in banking, finance and capital markets practice, she has led landmark financings, LBOs, securitizations, IPOs, high yield bonds and structured finance transactions that shaped the Turkish market. She combines deep legal knowledge with practical market know-how, especially in handling cross-border and multi-layered security package-backed financing transactions.
Before joining Erdem & Erdem, Şen worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as Principal Counsel from 2022 to 2025, where she advised on project and corporate financings, securitizations including DPRs and synthetic securitizations, and direct equity investments across Türkiye and EBRD’s regional operations. Earlier in her career, she was a partner at one of Türkiye’s premier law firms and began her legal journey at the European Court of Human Rights.
Şen is dual-qualified in Paris and Istanbul and consistently ranked as a leading figure in Banking & Finance and Capital Markets by IFLR, Chambers Europe, and Legal 500. She delivers comprehensive legal solutions to global corporations, private equity firms, various investors, lenders and financial institutions.
