80 NEWSLETTER 2016 Conclusion A single shareholding structure is one of the significant changes that Turkish Commercial Code numbered 6102 has introduced. We have observed that the volume of establishing a single shareholder joint stock company has increased in the current years. Such devel- opment is substantial in order to resolve potential disputes between the shareholders of a company, and appears to be an opportunity for persons who are experts in their fields, and are able to establish and manage their own company as the single shareholder. A single share- holding structure also ensures efficiency for general assemblies.
